Morning arrived Sandakan Airport, and proceed with Come face to face with the famed Wildman of Borneo - the Orang Utan! Scientifically known as Pongo pgymaeus, this Ape shares up to 96.4% of the human genetic makeup. Meet this remarkable creature in its natural habitat at Sepilok as they learn to survive once more in the teeming jungles of Borneo in Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary. A raised wooden walkway takes you to the observation deck where Orang Utans slowly emerge from the rain forest to be fed by the rangers. Witness the feeding Orang Utan at 1000hrs then to the Outdoor Nursery, home to juvenile Orang Utans ,aged between five to eight years old. Learn about managing juvenile Orang Utans.

Continue journey to Bilit Rainforest Lodge located beside the Lower Kinabatangan River in the village of Bilit, a base for easy exploration  of the incredible diversity of plant, mammal and birds at the Kinabatangan region. Arrive at village of Bilit jetty and take a short boat transfer to Bilit Rainforest Lodge. Welcome drink, briefing and check-in before buffet lunch at lodge restaurant.

0630Hrs meet your guide at lobby and proceed with early Cruise to Sukau Ox-Bow Lake for bird watching. After your morning exploration returns to the lodge and enjoy your late breakfast. After breakfast proceed walking tour to Bilit Village, home to the local Orang Sungei community. Experience the living style of the local community The Orang Sungei, which translates to ‘River People’ are one of Sabah’s many indigenous communities and are very hospitable with a diverse cultural heritage. Buffet lunch at lodge restaurant and afternoon at client own leisure.

At 1530 hours, afternoon tea with some local bites before embark to cruise to discover the Kinabatangan River, Sabah’s longest river at 560km and one of the world's richest ecosystems Kinabatangan River in search of endemic proboscis monkeys, different species of birds & other wildlife along the river bank. One may also catch a glimpse of wild Orangutans, leaf monkeys, gibbons, macaques or the newly discovered “Borneon Pygmy Elephants”. At 1930 hours buffet dinner at lodge restaurant. Join a night cruise in search of nocturnal animal.
