Vietjet, a Vietnamese budget airline, is launching new routes to connect popular destinations in Vietnam with major cities in the Asia-Pacific region, coinciding with the country surpassing its 2023 foreign tourist target.
Starting November 21, Vietjet will offer flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Perth and Adelaide in Australia, making it the first Vietnamese airline to connect Vietnam to all five of Australia's largest cities.
Vietjet will also introduce new routes from Phu Quoc to Busan (South Korea) and Taipei (Taiwan), and from Hanoi to Hong Kong. These expansions will provide travelers with more convenient options for traveling between Vietnam and other popular destinations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Specifically:
Ho Chi Minh City - Perth - Adelaide: 5 return flights per week, starting November 21
Phu Quoc - Busan: 7 return flights per week, starting December 10
Phu Quoc - Taipei: 4 return flights per week, starting January 17
Hanoi - Hong Kong: 7 return flights per week, starting December 22
