VISIT CU CHI TUNNELS (BY ROAD)
From Saigon, take a 2hr drive northwest to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels started in 1948 to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as living quarters, communication and supply routes, and housed hospitals, food and weapons caches. Touring the underground compounds will provide a better understanding of the history of the tunnels, the hardship of life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese resilience during combat. CITY HIGHLIGHTS TOUR
With over eight million inhabitants and four million motorbikes, Ho Chi Minh City is truly a city that never sleeps. Despite its modernity, Ho Chi Minh City maintains a strong link to the past and our city tour takes in some of Ho Chi Minh City’s most historic landmarks including the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red brick edifice with twin spires constructed from materials imported from France (entrance is only permitted when no services are being performed). Then head across the square to the Central Post Office, completed in 1891. A short drive away is the former Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American War. Continue to the War Remnants Museum for a vivid perspective of the American War through the eyes of the Vietnamese. (Please note that some of the displays are very graphic.) Experience Saigon’s famed street coffee culture while your guide provides a brief language lesson as well as insights into daily life of a Saigonese before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Coco Riverside Lodge in Trung Nghia - Vung Liem within three hours via Ben Tre or within three and a half hours via Vinh Long City. Upon arrival, meet a representative who will guide you to the lodge located by the river, where you'll be greeted with a welcome drink.
Check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge, then take some time to relax before choosing bicycles for a village tour. Visit Mr. Cong’s home to observe the traditional process of pop rice production and gain insights into this age-old technique. Experience his daily life firsthand and learn about his craft. Next, stop by another local home to harvest and weave water coconut leaves, used in Mekong Delta construction. Mrs. Chien will also demonstrate making 'poon' sticks. Further, your guide will explain animal raising and biogas collection.
Cycle along serene village paths, explore rice paddies, and visit a dragon fruit plantation (you can discuss with your guide if you'd like to extend the ride). Enjoy the sunset before returning to the lodge to freshen up. Later, visit home of Mr. Hai Luong, a war veteran, who will share his memories of the Vietnam War in this village. Enjoy traditional military music, illuminated by the soft glow of poon candles. At the end of the show, walk back holding torches made from dried coconut leaves, a traditional local custom for nighttime.
Conclude the evening with a cooking class where you'll learn to make Vietnamese pancakes, followed by dinner at the lodge's restaurant

After breakfast, board a motorboat and head to the local market to immerse yourself in the region's vibrant culture and daily life.
Next, visit a Cao Dai temple and a nearby coconut factory along the river, where you'll observe the handcrafting of coconuts into ropes and rugs. This artisanal process caters primarily to international buyers, particularly from Korea. Afterward, return to the lodge to unwind or take a swim before checking out then drive back to Saigon and free at leisure

In the afternoon visit Hoi An. Between the 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An known then as ‘Faifo’, was a prosperous trading port, attracting Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish ships amongst others. Today, this World Heritage ancient town is recognised for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-only streets and distinctive local cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past. Hoi An’s narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour of its many atmospheric sights including: the old merchant houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters across the stream; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with its intricate woodcarvings; and the colourful market with stalls brimming with local specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two.

After breakfast at hotel, You will be picked up and transferred to Vong Nhi village by E-car, you receive the bikes and we start cycling through the village (around 6 km). On the way we may see lots of stunning landscapes from peaceful countryside such as green water coconut forest and prawn & red snapper farms or immerse ourselves in rustic beauty of rice fields. Arrival at Thanh dong organic farm- a 10,000 sqm organic garden supporting 10 local families. We will take a short stroll around the vegetable garden while listening to the life-changing story of the farmers since they have been approached organic method of cultivating herbs.
Afterwards we join the farmers to do some gardening activities like preparing and applying organic manure to the land, raking the ground, sowing herb seed, watering or picking vegetables. Then, we leave the farm for taking the basket boat ride along the Do River to The Field Restaurant. You may enjoy the beautiful scenery or fishing life of local villagers on the way there. Before getting back to the hotel, we will enjoy short cooking class and have Vietnamese family style lunch. Drive back hotel and free at leisure

AFTERNOON STREET FOOD TOUR
Eating on the street is a very typical activity for Hanoians and makes up an important part of the city’s unique culture. Depart at 15:30 for a leisurely walk with our tour guide to the Old Quarter. Make your first stop to taste the national dish of Vietnamese - Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup. This is a wonderful oppotunity to taste different type of Vietnamese food, including Banh Goi (The deep fry rice paper with mill pork, vermicelli, mushroom), Banh Ran (The sticky rice ball cake), Banh Tom (The shrimp cake), Nem (The spring roll). Follow your guide to a small alley to get an idea of a typical “tube houses” of Hanoi. You will stop at Banh My Lan Ong and try their famous bread with Pâté. After the banh mi, you can enjoy some Vietnamese desserts - sweet soups called Che. Then cap off your trip by tasting a cup of Vietnamese egg coffee before returning back to your hotel

Drive from hotel through the historical Ba Dinh Square where president Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the independence of Vietnam in 1945 and find out outstanding architecture, beautiful atmosphere around this square. Then reach to Lenin Garden, a communal space for locals. This also offers a perfect opportunity for people-watching, to get a better idea of the daily activities of the locals. After that, we make our way through a small alleys of Hanoi where sewing shops have been in family hands for generations and admire the daily life of local people who still practise old an old way of life in the alleys of Hanoi. Do not forget to bring your camera along to capture the unique experience. Continue walk to visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century and explore its role in the country’s past.
Then visit the fascinating Ethnology Museum (closed Mondays), which is both a research centre and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam.
And enjoy your lunch at local restaurant before make a stroll around the charming Hanoi old quarter to explore the fascinating maze of back streets. Then walking to busy street of Nha Chung where every day is always the busy by several vendors of food or vegetables gather for sale. And stop at old French house of Hanoian for tea break and talk with him to discover more about the change of local people, life and listen to the story of family in each period. End of trip, Conclude your day by watching an entertaining water puppet performance, a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form said to have originated in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta where villagers entertained themselves by manipulating puppets over the water. Ba Vi is a rural mountainous area west of the bustling city of Hanoi. The stunning natural scenery combined with friendly locals make Ba Vi a truly authentic experience. Escape the noise and crowds of the city, and immerse yourself into a peacefully natural excursion.
After breakfast at hotel, you drive to Bavi national park. Arrive to Ri village where you will start the trip at your host’s house with a welcome drink. Meet Duoc (Mr.) – a Vietnam War veteran and tea-farm owner who tells historical stories with his own experience.
Follow Duoc to his vast tea-farm and learn how to harvest tea leaves. This is a green and peaceful place where you can enjoy beautiful scenery of the village. You may then help him pick tea leaves, and be shown how to collect the best part of the tea tree to make the most wonderful beverage of Vietnam – the traditional tea. Carry on with the process of producing tea at his small workshop, most of the works there are manual. Then drive a ten-minute drive to visit another host family in Moc village where you will enjoy a fun cooking class with Chin (Mrs.). She will show you how to cook some Vietnamese dishes and you will then enjoy lunch with food you helped cook. Strolling around the village and visit some local families to understand rural lifestyle and learn how tofu, conical hat and other local products are made. Enjoy a cycling trip through beautiful paddy fields and interact with local farmers by chance. Wrap up your countryside tour by a traditional foot bathing in warm water with herbs, following the traditional recipes of Muong ethnic minority. This will relay you (and your feet!) after cycling around the village. Then drive back to hotel for check in hotel and free at leisure

The scenery of Halong Bay where thousands of limestone islands jut out of the emerald sea, sculpted into bizarre shapes is truly an iconic image for Vietnam. An overnight boat trip is the best way to enjoy this Vietnamese must-see. After breakfast leave Hanoi for a 2hr30mins drive to Halong Bay including a 20-minutes stop on the way .
Arrive at the jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. After a welcome onboard, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board.
Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

The sun rises on Halong in the morning and breakfast is served (also brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruises slowly back towards port. After breakfast, visit three of the most popular Buddhist temples in the city. We will start with Wat Traimit, located at the edge of Chinatown, on Yaowarat Road, near the Hualampong train station. Wat Traimit is home to the largest solid gold Buddha in the world, measuring almost five meters tall and weighing five and a half tons. The tour will continue to Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok. The temple of the enormous reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. This is located behind the Buddha Temple. It is one of the largest temples in the city and famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha that measures 46 meters long and is covered in gold. Next, you will visit the Royal Palace, which is undoubtedly the most famous monument in the city. Built in 1782, for 150 years it was the home of the king of Thailand, the royal court and the administrative headquarters of the government. The Grand Palace in Bangkok is an ancient building that continues to impress its visitors with its beautiful architecture and details. Within the complex is Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram), considered the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand, enshrining the most revered Buddha carved from a single block of jade. Drive to Ratchaburi province for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. At the floating market of Damnoen Saduak, it is amazing to see a lively market scene of local vendors selling local foods, tropical fruits, and numerous handicraft products on their boats. Drive north of Bali, visit the royal temple of Mengwi - Pura Taman Ayun. Dating back to 1634, this picturesque complex surrounded by a moat with multi-grouper covered tombs and intricate wooden doors cut out. The inner compound is complete with the meru, balls and magnificent tombs.
