Day 01: Bangkok (-)
Arrival at Bangkok airport. Meet and greet, transfer to your hotel. Check-in time is 14:00. Make a city tour with a visit to the Grand Palace with the Wat Phra Keo, see the Reclining Buddha at Wat Po and stop at the Marble Temple of Wat Benchamabophit. Evening at leisure. Overnight Bangkok.
Day 02: Bangkok (B)
Breakfast. Day at leisure in Bangkok or (pre)book an optional excursion. Overnight Bangkok.
Day 03: Bangkok-Phitsanuloke (B-L)
Breakfast. Depart for the roundtrip. First stop in Ayutthaya is to visit the historical parks Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Mahathat. Stop in the monkey city of Lopburi and Phra Prang Sam Yod temple. Lunch on the way to a local restaurant and arrive at Phitsanuloke in the late afternoon. Make a tricycle tour to see the provincial city in the evening. Overnight Phitsanuloke.
Day 04: Phitsanuloke-Lampang (B-L)

Breakfast. Visit the Buddha Casting Factory and the Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat. Continue to Sukhothai for visit on a bicycle. Continue to Lampang with lunch on the way at a local restaurant. Make a horse carriage ride in town and visit the teak house of Baan Sao Nak and Wat Chedi Sao. Overnight Lampang. |
Day 05: Lampang-Chiang Rai (B-L)
Breakfast. Depart from Lampang with stop at the Phayao Lake. Visit the tea plantation of Chui Fong in Mae Chan before arriving at the Golden Triangle. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit the Opium Museum and stop at the top of Wat Phrathat Pha Ngao for the best view over the Mekong River. Head to Chiang Rai and visit the blue temple of Wat Rong Sua Ten before check in. Overnight Chiang Rai.
Day 06: Chiang Rai-Chiang Mai (B-L)
Breakfast. Leave Chiang Rai and visit the white temple of Wat Rong Khun. Arrive by noon in Mae Rim for the visit to the orchid farm and lunch. Head to the last temple of the trip on the hills with the Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. Check-in and balance of the day at leisure. Overnight Chiang Mai.
Day 07: Chiang Mai-Chiang Mai station (B)
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Check-out time is noon. Transfer to Chiang Mai train station. Overnight on the train.
Day 08: Bangkok station-Hua Hin (-)
Arrival at Bangkok train station. Transfer by the driver to Hua Hin (ca. 3 h). Check-in and balance of the day at leisure. Overnight Hua Hin.
Day 09: Hua Hin (B)
