Day 01: Bangkok (-)
Arrival at Bangkok airport. Meet and greet, transfer to your hotel. Check-in time is 14:00. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight Bangkok.
Day 02: Bangkok (B)
Breakfast. Day at leisure in Bangkok or (pre)book an optional excursion. Overnight Bangkok.
Day 03: Bangkok-Cha Am (L) - 240 km
Breakfast. Depart from your Bangkok hotel. First, stop at the Mae Klong Railway Market to see the train passing through the local market. Continue along the scenic route to Petchburi, passing salt fields and fisheries. Visit Petchburi the Khao Luang temple in the cave. Stop in the city center to eat like locals do at Rabiang Rim Nam and enjoy the provincial atmosphere. Proceed to Kaeng Krachan dam and take a boat ride enjoying the scenery. Meet up (or get invaded) by monkey "pirates" living on one of the islands in the reservoir. Arrive at Cha Am Beach and check in. Overnight Cha Am.
Day 04: Cha Am-Kuiburi (B-L) - 200 km
Breakfast. Morning visit the fisherman's pier to see the day's catch. Depart for a scenic drive through Hua Hin and Sam Roi Yot to reach the Kuiburi national park. Local lunch in Khao Daeng. At the national park, change to a 4WD truck accompanied by a ranger, and head into the park close to the Myanmar borders. From different viewpoints, we look for sighting wild elephants and gaurs. With luck, herds can be seen during late afternoon check-in at the hotel. Overnight Kuiburi.
Day 05: Kuiburi-Ranong (B-L) - 380 km
Breakfast. Depart from Kuiburi. Stop in Prachuap Khiri Khan, the town of the three bays. Get some fruit to meet with the friendly langurs near Khao Lom Muak. Continue to Ranong province. Lunch in Mamu district and try the famous Thab Li steamed stuffed buns. Viewpoints stop at the Kra Isthmus and the old Japanese warship in Sai Daeng. Arrive in Ranong, famous for the hot springs, and head up to Som Paen viewpoint. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight Ranong.
Day 06: Ranong-Khao Sok (B-L) - 225 km

Breakfast. Morning visit of Phu Khao Ya, a treeless, grassy hill with a panoramic mountain view. Make the scenic drive along the Andaman Sea and the mountains. Stop in Takuapa for a boat ride in the unseen little "amazon". Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Khao Sok over the curvy road. Viewpoint stop before arriving at the village. Check-in and make a tubing on the Sok River. Overnight Khao Sok. |
Day 07: Khao Sok-Krabi (B-L) - 225 km

Breakfast. Depart to the Ratchaprapha pier for a cruise on the Chiew Lan Lake. Stop at a floating raft for lunch. Return to the pier and continue to Krabi province. Enjoy the view from Khao Thong. A drop off at your Krabi hotel. (End of Bangkok guide service) Overnight Krabi. |
