Breakfast. City tour of Bangkok. Head to the riverside and board the long-tail boat for a cruise on the Chao Phraya River and the canals. Visit the Wat Arun. Take the ferry crossing to visit the Grand Palace with Wat Phra Keo. Return to the hotel. Overnight Bangkok.

Breakfast. Morning departure to visit the Mae Klong Railway Market. Hop on a boat to visit the floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Continue to Kanchanaburi and visit the war cemetery and the bridge. Check in and balance of the day at leisure. Overnight Kanchanaburi.

Breakfast. Spend the day at the Erawan Waterfalls with a hike trail or swim in the pond. Return to the hotel and balance of the day at leisure. Overnight Kanchanaburi.

Breakfast. Head to Ayutthaya in the late morning. Visit the ancient capital's ruined temples. Board the train to Chiang Mai in the evening. Overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Morning arrival in Chiang Mai station. Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Check-in is 14:00. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight Chiang Mai.

Breakfast. Morning transfer by local truck to Mae Tang area for trekking of ca. 4.5-5 h to local hill tribe villages. Meet up with the Lahu, Karen, Lisu, Akha, and Palong tribes. In between a lunch box is provided at one of the villages. Return in the afternoon. Overnight Chiang Mai.

Breakfast. Morning pick up and head to Mae Wang Valley. Get the introduction to the Tuk Tuk and begin the driver's training. Once you pass the test, you will be allowed to drive yourself! Follow the leading tuk-tuk through tiny rural roads, farming villages and temples. Frequent stops are made to explore and, importantly, to make sure everyone has a good opportunity to drive (or just to enjoy the backseat). Reach the elephant home and get the introduction to interacting with them; Have Thai lunch at the home and after that walk with the elephants and watch them cool down in the river. Hop on a traditional bamboo raft and float along the local river. Jump back into the tuk-tuk and drive back to the base. End of the trip with the transfer back to the hotel in town.
