7 Days Exploring Khmer Temples Of Thailand And Cambodia

Arrival Bangkok airport. Meet and greet, transfer to your hotel. Check in time is 14:00 Balance of the day at leisure.

Overnight Bangkok.

Breakfast. Day at leisure in Bangkok or (pre)book an optional excursion.

Overnight Bangkok.

Breakfast. Depart to Korat (ca 4 h). Visit the Khmer temple of Phimai and the giant Banyan Tree. Lunch at a local restaurant. Stop at Prasat Hin Phanom Wan. Drive through Korat town to Khao Yai. Check-in at the hotel.

Overnight Khao Yai.

Breakfast. Visit the Khao Yai National Park with trail walking to Nong Phung She Tower. Head to the famous waterfall of Haew Narok (the Beach movie). Basic lunch/picnic lunch at the park.  Another trail is made to Pha Diao Dai or Lonely Cliff for its spectacular view. Return to the hotel. In the evening return to the park for a night safari by local truck.

Note: Sighting of wild mammals and birds cannot be guaranteed.

Overnight Khao Yai.

Breakfast. Early morning departure to Bangkok airport (apx. 4 h) for flight to Siem Reap (exclude airfare). (If flight arrival by early afternoon, this excursion can be done - if not, it will be included in the next day). Arrival Siem Reap and head for a visit of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Neak Pean and Preah Khan. Check in and evening at leisure.

Overnight Siem Reap.

Breakfast. Day tour of Angkor Wat with visits to Angkor Thom, South Gate, Bayon Temle, Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, The Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and Angkor Wat. Enjoy also the sunset at Pre Rup.

Overnight Siem Reap.

Breakfast. Morning visit Tonle Sap with boat ride to the floating village of Kampong Phluk. Return to the hotel. Transfer to Siem Reap airport.
