Solo travel friendly list named Hanoi

Solo travel friendly list by BuzzFeed has named Hanoi as one of the places places alongside Asia destinations like Japan, South Korea and Thailand.

Many responses and comments of solo travelers worldwide from Reddit, a huge and popular American social news aggregation and discussion website, was used and analyzed for a list of best or worst solo travel friendly destinations.

“I would say Hanoi is one of the best cities for solo travel, and it’s the best option in Southeast Asia. The city has charm, culture, hospitality, and affordable prices, whereas other urban hubs like Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur are very heavily modernized,” a solo traveler commented.

“In Hanoi, there are many vibrant hostels filled with backpackers near the French Quarter and its beautiful architecture.”

Some other destinations list as best places for people who want to do solo trips are the Netherlands, Argentina and New Zealand. In the other hand, India, Paris, Egypt and South Africa were deemed the worst place to travel alone due to safety concerns.

International magazines have been named Vietnam as best place for travelling alone serveral time before. Last year, the country was get into a list of 10 best destinations for lone travellers by Lonely Planet, and Australia-based travel magazine.

From March 15, Vietnam will reopen inbound and outbound tourism under new normal conditions, with foreign tourists allowed to tour the country freely.
