Bathe in a gilded sunset at Yangon’s Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, cruise the Irrawaddy River from Mandalay to explore Bagan’s extraordinary temples and catch a glimpse of traditional leg rowers at Inle Lake. This journey features Myanmar's most mesmerizing wonders. Starting in Yangon, where you can admire impressive colonial buildings and iconic Buddhist pagodas. Travel to Mandalay, the former royal capital, where you'll explore surrounding villages and experience an exotic evening out in the town. Then relaxing on two-hour sailing from Mandalay to Bagan, enjoy the water life on the water and fascinating landscape. After disembarking in Bagan, learn the Burmese culture through a cooking session and witness the incredible landscape littered with thousands of pagodas Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas in the world. Next stop, you will fly to Heho and from there head to Ine Lake. Cruising through lush floating villages at Inle Lake and admiring the renowned leg-rowing fishermen. Head to the Pa-O village of In Dein and Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery before spending the final night in Yangon. A visit to Myanmar is to experience the Southeast Asia of twenty years ago, full of rarely seen sights and generations of stories just waiting to be told.

DAY 02: YANGON SIGHTSEEING – YOGA & MEDITATION SESSION (B/-/-)
Morning Yoga & Meditation session by facing the open fresh air for 120 mins, which can reduce stress for a healthier and fulfilling life.
At afternoon, today we will have half day sightseeing for visit to the old colonial-style city center with city hall, Mahabandoola Park with Independence Monument, Strand road and Yangon Jetty by Car. Then continue visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, is the most popular market (close on every Monday & Public holiday) and where you can buy luxury item, handicrafts, food stuff, clothing, jewelry, fashion and consumer goods. Evening visit to the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset.

DAY 03: YANGON-MANDALAY (BY FLIGHT 10:00-11:00) (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport to take domestic flight to Mandalay. Arrive at Mandalay, half day sightseeing tour of Mandalay by car includes Mahamuni Pagoda, gold of hammering, Mandalay Palace. From there, you will have new experience by visiting trishaw to Kuthodaw Pagoda by surrounding 729 inscribed marble slabs, known as “the world’s largest book”, Shwenandaw "Golden Palace Monastery" to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture, and visit Atumashi Monastery.
Evening, enjoy sunset from beautiful U Bein Bridge which is more than two centuries old and at 1.2 km longest teakwood span in the world.

DAY 04: AMARAPURA-AVA-SAGAING (B/-/-)
After breakfast, today visit Amarapura. Highlights include Mahagandayon Monastery which is a school for young monks and observe the lunch process in morning. Then, proceed to Sagaing, the hilltops, each crested with a pagoda, the banners proclaiming the Buddha’s teaching, the refuge from all ills and tribulations where over 600 monasteries for monks and nuns are located for Buddhist studies and mediation. Visit to U Min Thonze (or Thirty Caves Pagoda) which has many Buddha images in a shaped colonnade and the impressive Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda and enjoy panoramic view from Sagaing Hill.
At afternoon, boat trip to visit Ava (Innwa), it is located on an island between Ayeyarwaddy and Myitnge Rivers. The tour can visit Ava by horse cart to Nanmyint Watch Tower, The Maha Aung Mye Bonzan well known as Me Nu Oak-Kyaung (Brick Monastery) was built in 1822, Bagaya Monastery, Lacquer ware industry, Yadana Hsimi Pagoda and Inwa Bridge spanning the Ayeyarwaddy River.

DAY 05: MANDALAY-MONYWA-PHOWINDAUNG (B/-/-)
After breakfast, drive by road to Monywa, about 136 km to the west of Mandalay, a major center of trade and commerce for agricultural product from surrounding Chindwin Valley. Arrive Monywa, visit Mohnyin Thanmbuddhei Pagoda with over 500,000 images of Buddha and Giant Reclining Buddha at Bodhi Tahtaung (one thousand Bodi Tree) Shwezigon Pagoda, Laykyun Setkya Pagoda, and Phowintaung Cave where mural paintings cover the walls and ceilings of the cave, depicting the jataka reincarnation stories of the Buddha. Transfer to hotel.

DAY 06: MONYWA-PAKOKKU-BAGAN (BY CAR & BOAT) (B/-/-)
After breakfast, drive to Pakokka jetty for excursion boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Bagan. On the way, visit Ma U Ma Le village for an opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle and culture of the countryside residents. Then, continue to Yayzagyou where we will visit the wooden Pakhangyi Monastery, built in 1886. Afternoon, proceed to Pakokka, an un-spoiled small town renowned for tobacco trading and weaving shops.
Enjoy a leisurely two-hour boat trip to Bagan.

DAY 07: BALLOON, COOKING CLASS & AFTERNOON FREE (B/-/-)
Today, we offer morning cooking class and start at the market where we browse and do some shopping the walk to local house for cooking, chatting and enjoy lunch. Our aim is to introduce you not only to Myanmar food but also our culture, lifestyle and how food and dining is a key part of our social life. We are not professional chefs, we just love sharing food and stories with travelers. The class is at local house with local cooking equipment and traditional recipes- part of it is hands-on and part is demonstration. The menu includes soup, salad and main course. Then, back to hotel for leisure time

DAY 08: BAGAN FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel, start to visit colorful Nyaung U market, and some of Bagan most famous pagodas and temples, including Shwezigon Pagoda, even King Anawyahta built first pagoda in Bagan in the 11th century but the most beautiful pagoda among 2200 pagodas in Bagan. Then, visit Htilominlo Temple and Gubaukgyi (Wet Kyi Inn) Temple, it is a 13th century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of sconces from the Jataka.
In the afternoon, continue to visit Lacquer ware home cottage, to study how to create the traditional method of generation by generation. After that, explore more pagodas around Bagan, Ananda Temple, the most finest one in Bagan and famous of masterpiece of wooden standing Buddha images of 12th century. And continue to see the highest Thetbyinnyu Temple, the most massive Dhamayangyi Temple, famous of its interlocking mortar thickest brickwork. Late afternoon, relax and enjoy sunset in Bagan with beautiful scenery.

DAY 09: BAGAN-HEHO-KALAW (BY FLIGHT 09:25-10:05) (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport domestic flight to Heho, Arrival Heho, drive by road to Kalaw. Kalaw is a former colonial British hill station on the western edge of the Shan Plateau in Myanmar and it is cool during the day and cold at night. There are many hiking trails amid gnarled pines and bamboo groves. Palaung Tribe Village is also famous for trekking and a narrow valley where the Palaung cultivate cheroot, tea, damsons and mangoes on the hill. Arrive hotel, leisure time for the whole day.

DAY 10: MT. MAENAL CAMPING (B/L/D)
Morning, guide will pick you up from hotel and drive to trekking starting point Mt.Maenal Pa O’ village.
From there, trekking about one and half hour to Camp on Mt.Maenal. Have a lunch at the Camp and enjoy your leisure time by doing some activities, watching the beauty of sun sunset and sun rise, or drinking coffee and listening music. At night will set a fire besides the tanks and overnight under a million star on Mt.Maenal.
Between the month of Jun till mid of Oct is rainy season in Myanmar. In the case of weather condition OR you prefer hotel an alternative accommodation will be offered by hotel in Kalaw.

DAY 11: INLE FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY BOAT) (B/-/-)
After breakfast, trekking downhill and start sightseeing for magical Inle Lake, which is located 1328 meters above sea level and 22 km long and 11 km wide. Highlights include the fisherman rowing in the one-legged style characteristic of Inle Lake boatmen and the gardens of grass and earth floating on the surface of this shallow lake used for growing vegetables. Besides the enjoyment of the scenery we can also visit the holiest religious site Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Silk Weaving Village of Inphawkhon, Burmese Cats House, Cheroot making and other cottage industries. Then, visit to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, a beautiful old teak wood building. If time permit, you will have experience for catching fish in the shallow water by using just one leg to balance on water like a Inntha fisherman. Return to hotel.

- Deposit: In order to secure your spot for the tour, an amount of 100% internal-flight tickets and 10% of land service are required to pay (the amount vary based each on tour basis). The amount should be made via bank transfer or our online payment method.
After receiving the deposit of your tour, a voucher confirmation will be sent to you within 24-48 hours.
- Final Payment: The balance of your tour will be made one month before the travel date. Payment by bank transfer or online payment is accepted.

- Online payment by Credit Card with ONEPAY: We accept American Express, Visa card, MasterCard and JCB card since Realistic Asia is a verified member of OnePay System.
