
Flights to Danang to resume next month
Flights to Danang city will be re-operated by Singapore Airlines from March 27, 2022 after two years since the pandemic.
Tickets for the services now is selling by Singapore’s national carrier, local media reported. Passengers can looking for tickets at Singapore Airline’s official site.
Based on market demand, frequency might be increase. Right now, the South East Asia airline inform that they are going to operate on round-trip flight daily.
There were four round-trip flights to Danang city from Singapore before the pandemic. The island-country also is key tourism market of Danang. Around 12,000 Vietnamese people living in Singapore for working or studying too.
Singapore resumed commercial flights to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi from Jan. 13.
On January 13, 2022, commercial flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Singapore were approved by Singapore government.
Danang, home to long, sandy beaches, is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam. The city plans to fully reopen tourism and aviation from next month, when the country is fully open for worldwide travelers.
Vietnam started allowing foreign tourists under a vaccine passport program with strict restrictions last November. So far, nearly 9,000 foreign arrivals have been welcomed under the program, half of them Vietnamese overseas coming to see their relatives.

Under the program, Khanh Hoa, Kien Giang, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, and Binh Dinh provinces, along with Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang City are the only localities foreign tourists can visit.
According to the proposal, tour packages with designated travel agencies are not required anymore for all foreign tourists arriving in Vietnam after March 15. This requirement used to be part of the vaccine passport trial program launched in November last year.
